This build of Civworld seems to be working well with the 2.0.8 release of Freeciv.
Install instructions for this version is as follows:

 1. Extract into the directory where Freeciv is installed.
 2. Run civworld.exe

Troubleshooting:
If Civworld fails with a message that "mgwz.dll" is missing, make a copy of
the file "zlib1.dll" in the install directory and rename the copy "mgwz.dll".

This is an unofficial build of Civworld 112004 - Freeciv map editor for MS
Windows using native GTK2.

You need freeciv2.0 (beta4 will be ok) gtk2 client for windows (download links
below).

Copy civworld.bat to your freeciv directory, copy civworld.exe to bin\
subdirectory.

Launch by running civworld.bat. Do not close the black cmd.exe window unless
you want to quit civworld.

There is original civworld documentation in doc\ subdirectory.
